| So, here's the deal. My big dog Comet, whom most of you have met I'm sure, or at least heard about because I talk about my dogs A LOT, has had this cyst on the back of his spine. It's basically just a pocket of fluid that builds up (the vets say it doesn't hurt them and from Comet's behavior, that seems to be true) and you can either get it drained or get it removed surgically. Well of course, getting it drained is cheaper so we've just been doing that for awhile now. But I've been trying to convince my parents to get the cyst permanently removed because when they get it drained, the cyst just grows back bigger than the last time. So a couple of days ago, my mom calls me and says they've scheduled an appointment for Comet to get the cyst surgically removed. I guess they finally realized it was going to be a waste of money to continue getting the cyst drained over time as opposed to going ahead and removing it. Now I need a favor from you guys. Comet's surgery is scheduled for tomorrow (Monday the 27th) and although I'm 99% sure nothing bad will happen, it would still mean a lot to me and make me feel better if you guys would either pray or send positive thoughts towards Comet tomorrow. And Cupid could use some too because since my parents and my brother would all be at work, they aren't comfortable leaving Cupid at the house without Comet (they're littermates and haven't ever been separated for long periods of time), so they're taking her with Comet and keeping her in kennel up there. So she's going to be quite lonely tomorrow. So, yeah... I'd really appreciate it if you guys could do that. :) <3 Macy | | |
